But instead of sharing my theatre experience with you I am going to give you a few tips on exam preparations. This is because I was chatting with a 17 year old student the other day and felt that I have a few tips to offer to students who are preparing for their exams. So what should you do? From my experience I find the following helpful. 1. Make yourself a nice revision area , which has plenty of good light to make you alert, lots of pens and coloured pens as well as a good dictionary. 2. Try to do your revision at the same time each day as this will get you into a routine 形成惯例 and make it feel less of a chore. 3. Eat a good snack before settling down to your revision but keep food out of sight once you start. 4. Studying with a friend or in a group is a great way to share ideas so you can team up 联合起来 with one or few others from time to time. 5. Use a variety of resources, such as the internet as well as textbooks, to give yourself the best possible set of ideas. 6. Make yourself memory cards to condense your revision into small manageable facts可以应付的. Are there things you need to avoid? Yes, personally I find it distracting with the TV on so you'd better switch it off while doing your revision. Don't stay up all night 忌熬夜. It will be less effective in the long run 长远起见. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If you get stuck just ask for help from friends or teachers. Most people wouldn't mind 不介意的. Naturally different people have difference habits but try to be as disciplined as possible so that your revision plan will be carried out 实现successfully. |
