      In western countries,mountains of garbage are thrown away each day.This creates many problems.First,areas of land must be found to put the garbage.Second,much energy is wasted producing things to be thrown away.In China,a lot of platic bags are used.They produce"white pollution".Many lakes and rivers are polluted by the wastes from factories.With the increasing national wealth,more waste will be produced.If everyone in the country bought one soft-drink can each day and threw it away,there would soon be a huge mountain of garbage.Recently,many countries have made a law to deal with waste and control pollution.They have also been very active in protecting the environment.
